About Scott

  • Grew up in Portland, OR, and comes from a family of competitive golfers, as his dad played for Stanford, his mom played for Univ. of Oregon, and his brother played for Santa Clara University.
  • Played the piano for 11 years and participated in numerous competitions.
  • Lists his parents and anyone who has given up their lives for our country as his heroes.
  • Has won numerous times on the Gateway Tour and National Pro Tour, and played the Canadian Tour and European Challenge Tour.
  • 2013: Made the cut in 12 of 25 Web.com Tour starts and had three top-25 finishes.
  • Fired a pair of weekend 68s to move into a T6 finish at the Chile Classic in Santiago. Wound up 17-under, four shots back of winner Kevin Kisner.
  • Was T6 at the Midwest Classic in July, thanks to weekend rounds of 66-67.
  • Recorded the first double eagle of his professional career in the final round of the Mylan Classic near Pittsburgh in early August. Holed a 6-iron from 217 yards at the 553-yard 13th hole at Southpointe GC. It was his only highlight of the final round as he shot a 7-over-par 78.
  • Made the cut in one of four Finals events, with a T52 at the Hotel Fitness Championship.
  • 2012: Had no status on the tour but Monday qualified into the Price Cutter Charity Championship in Springfield, MO and lost in a playoff to Chris Wilson, earning special temporary membership for the rest of the year on the tour with the money he made and finished 69th on the money list after playing just 8 events.
  • Monday qualified for the 2013 Northern Trust Open and finished T46.
  • Played at Northwestern University, playing on the same team for 2 years with Luke Donald.
